• Daily Backup Schedule (Sunday, October 21, 2012)
  
  All users of Blackboard should be aware that system backups are conducted every morning from 3:00 a.m.  until approximately 6:00 a.m. Blackboard runs on top of an Oracle database and in order to backup the database it must be shut down.
  
  If you are using Blackboard at 3:00 a.m., your session will be abruptly interrupted without any efforts to maintain the status of your session.
